Biography

Stephanie Stevens is a Clinical Professor of Law at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Stevens received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s University in 1987 and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1991. While working as a criminal defense attorney, Stevens began mentoring St. Mary’s law students in 1995. In the following year, she was brought on as a supervising attorney for the Criminal Justice Clinic, and she continues to educate students in this clinic as of 2026.
