Description

Volume 7, Issue 10 of The Rattler reports on social activities, campus visitors, and athletics at St. Mary’s College. The Rattler Club proposed hosting a dance in honor of the basketball matchups between the Rattlers and the University of Dallas. The junior class also held a social gathering at the home of class member Beverly Caldwell. The college welcomed a brief visit from His Excellency, the Very Reverend Pietro Fumasoni Biondi, Apostolic Delegate to the United States. The issue acknowledges the success of the recent freshman edition of the paper and encourages greater student involvement in missionary activities. Athletic coverage includes additional basketball results, while student life is highlighted by a Rattler Club outing at Richter’s Bakery held just before the beginning of Lent.
