Description
Volume 7, Issue 14 of The Rattler highlights student organizations, religious observances, athletics, and alumni news at St. Mary’s. The issue announces an upcoming freshman debate and extends congratulations to an alumnus on his recent marriage. Student activities include the creation of the Club Français and a well-received Rattler Club dance. Religious life is reflected in the Holy Father’s intention for April—Men’s Monthly Communion—and discussion of the forthcoming International Eucharistic Congress in Chicago, expected to be one of the largest religious gatherings of its kind. Additional coverage previews upcoming Fiesta events and reports on recent baseball games. The paper also announces that Thomas F. O’Donnell has signed a contract to coach the Rattlers in all sports for the 1927 season, and notes the election of Dick Harn as baseball captain, along with updates from the alumni community.
