Description

Volume 7, Issue 13 of The Rattler reports on athletics, student activities, and campus developments at St. Mary’s. On March 29, five members of the Rattler basketball team received gold basketballs in recognition of their outstanding season. The issue also announces that James McGinley will lead The Rattler through the coming academic year. With Easter approaching, religious life remains active on campus, including a general meeting of the Catholic Students’ Mission Crusade held on March 24 in the College Auditorium and continued engagement within the Sodality. Student life is further reflected in another debate organized by the freshman class. Athletic coverage includes the season record for basketball, the upcoming football schedule, and updates on the baseball team’s performance. Additional news notes the arrival of hundreds of new books in the library, preparations for the college’s Fiesta parade float, and recognition of notable theatrical productions staged by San Antonio women’s colleges.
