Description

Volume 7, Issue 8 of The Rattler reports on winter campus life, student organizations, and athletics at St. Mary’s College. The issue opens with scenes of snow covering the campus and notes the Rattler Club’s first luncheon. The recently formed College Sodality is described as showing strong promise as a positive influence within the school. The freshmen are preparing to publish their own special edition of The Rattler, and new officers have been elected for the year. Additional articles discuss the importance of good habits among athletes and explain the role of advertisements in newspapers. Campus updates include new management for the cafeteria. Athletic coverage highlights basketball results, including a loss to the San Marcos Bobcats, followed by a victory in their second meeting, along with notes on other team competitions.
