Constructed Languages or “conlangs” have exploded in popularity in recent years through books and television shows such as Dothraki in Game of Thrones and Klingon in the Star Trek series, as well as in films such as Na’vi in Avatar and Heptapod in Arrival. As glossopoieans, we studied the layers of language: Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, and Pragmatics.
