Engaging in Glossopoeia, our team, Mere Wudu (Lake Forest) has created a ConLang, Ietic for our people. Based on our culture, we developed our language in relation to our socio-cultural and natural environments. Mere Wudu is situated in a forest that has a river running through it. The mysticism of the river has helped shape the language and characters developed to communicate such language in written form. The language is known as Ietic, and it is the language of a fishing tribe of socially conscious creatures. To construct our language, we crafted the following linguistic layers: Phonology, Morphology, Lexicon, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics and Orthography.
