Description
In this episode, we hear from Ronald Weich, Dean of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Dean Ronald Weich shares with us his non-traditional path from assistant attorney general and chief counsel positions in the Department of Justice and U.S. Senate, respectively, to the position of Dean at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Dean Weich discusses how those experiences inform his current position, and how deans can best interact with students who are passionate about current events and want to see reform in the legal system. Listen as he describes the significant role that experiential education plays in his law school, including a robust clinical program, and discusses the newly created Criminal Justice Reform Center established by a generous alumnus. Dean Weich also predicts how legal education is likely to change, and how it should contribute to solving the access to justice crisis.
