Description
Volume 8, Issue 4 of The Rattler covers campus activities, religious observances, and student life at St. Mary’s. The issue notes that November 7–14 has been designated as National Education Week and reports on a meeting of the freshman class held on October 22. Social events include a senior party, a Halloween dance hosted by the St. Mary’s Academy seniors at Casa Regina, and an upcoming Rattler Club dance, with a new class of members scheduled for initiation on November 10. Religious life is reflected through coverage of the Feast of Christ the King and the recent celebration of All Saints’ Day, as well as continued activities of the Catholic Students Mission Crusade. The collegiate band is praised for its steady development, and students are reminded that midterm examinations are approaching. The issue also includes notes on the football team and recent games.
