Description

Volume 6, Issue 6 of The Rattler opens with a dedication honoring the passing of Reverend Joseph Chaminade. The issue reports that the play performed before Christmas was well received by both students and faculty, and it notes several updates made to the science department and the college library. On December 17, 1924, graduates of St. Mary’s Academy visited the high school and college departments of St. Mary’s College. Athletic coverage highlights the football team’s recent meeting, during which backfield star James Clifford was elected captain for the upcoming season, and Johnny Trabucco was nominated as line captain. The issue also recognizes the awarding of twenty-five football letters to players for their efforts during the previous season.
