Description

Volume 7, Issue 4 of The Rattler highlights campus spirit, academic developments, and student life at St. Mary’s College. The issue reports on a spirited football parade through the city and a pep meeting held in support of the team, as well as the large turnout of nearly five thousand spectators for the Armistice Day game, where the S.M.C. band performed. Despite strong support, the Rattlers were defeated by Dallas. The paper also notes that Thanksgiving is approaching and congratulates an alumnus on his recent wedding. Academic updates include ongoing microscopic work in the school laboratories and the expansion of the business curriculum to include business administration. Additional items mention the taking of the annual school photograph and announce a stylistic shift in the newspaper toward shorter, more concise articles.
