Description
Volume 3, Issue 4 of The Rattler includes an article discussing the difficulties of cattle raising and reports on a mysterious crime committed at the old monastery of St. François in Paris. The issue extends New Year’s wishes to its readers and describes how students observed the feast of Our Lady, Patroness of the United States, under the title of the Immaculate Conception. The S. L. C. Literary Circle hosted several successful debates. The Christmas celebration is highlighted as a great success. In athletics, football season has ended, and preparations for basketball are beginning. The issue also reports the passing of Father Chaminade after he suffered a stroke, and concludes with the listing of class honors for December.
