Description
Volume 3, Issue 8 of The Rattler discusses national issues surrounding labor strikes and notes that commencement day is approaching. The Oratorical Contest, limited to the III and IV High classes, proved to be a close and engaging competition. The Catholic Art Association presented the film The Blasphemer, and the issue also reflects on the observances of Holy Week and Easter on campus. In addition, the second musicale of the year was held, and the feast of St. Robert—celebrated as College Day in honor of the Rev. President’s nameday on April 29—was observed at St. Louis College. The Orioles baseball team also opened its season.
