Description

Volume 14, Issue 5 of The Rattler documents a range of academic, social, and cultural developments at St. Mary’s University. Howard LeBaron was elected president of the Goethe Club, while junior Harry Hensley assumed leadership of the Downtown Social Club. The university hosted Father Joseph C. Ei, provincial of the St. Louis Province of the Society of Mary, as a guest beginning November 28. Academic achievement was recognized with the publication of the mid-semester honor roll. The issue also features articles addressing the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and themes of military discipline, alongside the release of the band roster and updates on baseball scores. In the arts, the Glee Club prepared for its debut performance at the December 9 assembly, where it was scheduled to present the school anthem, highlighting the continued growth of campus musical traditions.
