Volume 14, Issue 10 of The Rattler showcases a dynamic blend of academic inquiry, student life, and campus traditions at St. Mary’s University. The Dramatic Club presented the comedy “Her Gloves,” highlighting continued growth in the performing arts, while the freshman class hosted a dance honoring six special guests. Student organizations remained active, with nine new pledges initiated into the Rattler Club and a column reflecting on trends in Collegiate America. Academic engagement was emphasized through a lecture by Dr. Eugene Paulin, S.M., who discussed modern theories of matter during the closing of the Chemistry Department’s exhibit. In a unique contribution to campus religious life, bees were imported to produce candles for church rites.
