Description
This theme of a “Degenerating Sense of Nobodyness” highlights our need to be seen, appreciated, and to be in community, to be part of our human family. This approach is rooted in the Zulu concept of Ubuntu or the idea that “I am what I am because of who we all are.” We are who we are because of our relationships and our shared humanity. Rooted in that reality, the following resources are a gathering of the facts as well as information on negotiations and outreach surrounding issues of loneliness, loss of each other, and oppression related to stressed communities. As with the other themes, these resources span the local to the global. Explore them to learn more and follow their breadcrumbs of citations, events, and people to dive even deeper into how we can recognize and support each other when faced with a degenerating sense of nobodyness.
