Description
Well cave is a small cave entrance that sits northeast of Bracken Bat Cave on the Bracken Bat Cave Preserve Property. The cave entrance sits above the Balcones Fault Zone, a primarily karst environment, and is mostly comprised of Edwards Limestone (EAA, 2022). The goal of this project is to successfully detect the main cave passageway, and any other potential paths that branch from it, beneath Well Cave. In order to accurately detect any passages, GPR surveying and ER testing were chosen as the main methods to do so.
