Description
Enjoy this conversation with J. Rich Leonard, Dean at Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, and learn more about how the 5th dean of the law school transitioned to being a leader in legal education after decades on the federal bench. Dean Leonard spearheaded a holistic review of the law school's curriculum that resulted in identifying nine specific practice areas and expanding their clinical programs. Under Dean Leonard's direction, Campbell Law added a unique FLEX JD program, a mentoring program, dual degree and 3+3 programs, including addition of an LL.M. available to law students, judges and attorneys through a partnership with the University of Nottingham, and a Certificate in Patent Law. He speaks passionately about the school's Ghana Summer Program that he leads for law students each year, and describes the comprehensive bar preparation program that is supporting impressive student success.
