Sarah is a Saudi Arabian student graduating from St. Mary's with her MA in English. In this video, she discusses the challenges of pronunciation in a new language and the impact it has on a speaker's identity. A lesson is also shared for other Arabic-English speakers on the Light Board about the consonants and vowels that she struggled with most.
